„Smuggling is a terrible disease” is the latest campaign raising awareness about the harmfulness of illegal trade. It was launched in partnership with ANAF (the National Agency for Fiscal Administration), the General Directorate of Customs, the Border Police, the Romanian Police, and with support from JTI Romania. It’s the tenth edition of this campaign and its purpose is to showcase the phenomenon of smuggling in an authentic manner, emphasizing its pathological side.
In October, the campaign’s messages with be aired at national level through a partnership with TVR and publicized with street banners in counties that are most affected by illegal trading, in Bucharest and at the border regions, and also online on www.faracontrabanda.ro and www.facebook.com/faracontrabanda.ro.
